Return Policy

At Knobs Direct, we value our customers and if something isn't right, we want to fix it. It's rare that our customers need to return parts; however, in the event that there is a problem, we want to make receiving a refund or an exchange as simple and easy as possible.

We do, however, ask the following:

  • Return the parts within 30 days of purchase
  • Return the parts in the original packaging
  • Parts must be in original condition (unless the part is proven to be defective)
  • Obtain a return material authorization (RMA) number before returning

How do I return an item?

To return your parts within 30 days of purchase, please call us to obtain a return material authorization (RMA) number before returning your product to Knobs Direct. We will gladly credit your account or exchange the parts using one of the following methods:

Credit: Return your parts to Knobs Direct and we will credit your card or account.

Cross-ship: Knobs Direct will ship you new parts if you agree to have the shipment charged to your credit card at the time of shipment. Once we receive the parts you are returning, we will issue a credit to your credit card.

Wait to Receive: Return your parts to Knobs Direct. Once we receive your shipment we'll send our replacement order. This method will only charge your credit card or account if there is a price difference between the incoming and outgoing parts. This method takes additional time due to the shipping time and shipping method you choose when returning the product.

How do I get an RMA number?

Just call us toll free at 866-428-9046 or email us at info@knobsdirect.com and provide the following information:

  • Company Name or Number
  • Order Number
  • Part number that you are returning (and the number of parts you are returning)
  • Part number of your replacement part (if known)
  • Contact information, such as contact name, phone number or email address
  • Why the parts need to be returned
  • The return or exchange method that you prefer

Where do I send my return?

Once you have obtained an RMA number, please write that number on the address label and send to:

Note: Please make sure you have an RMA number before you return any products to us. Because customer satisfaction is important to us, we try to send refunds and exchanges as soon as possible. However, if you don't have an RMA number, we will have no record of your return and your refund or exchange will be delayed.

What if I have a problem with my parts after the 30-day period is over?

At Knobs Direct, quality is our top priority. If you are experiencing problems with your parts, we want to remedy your situation as quickly as possible. Please contact us toll free at 866-428-9046 as soon as possible.

Note: To protect our company against abuse of our return policy, Knobs Direct reserves the right to charge a restocking fee (up to 30%) at our discretion.
